Heart Attack is the leading cause of death and a major cause of disability and illness in Canada.  To know your life could end or be significantly changed in a moment of time is something none of us like to think about.

I had an acute myocardial infarction on November 2, 2006.  During my time of recovery and rehabilitation I began to tell my story.  Since then I have kept busy with running the computer service and wireless internet business and not had the energy to work on this website.  Some of my story is in  the “About Me” and “More of My Story”  pages.

Don’t hesitate to send me your comments or stories of your cardio vascular event. I will try and post some of the stories I get on this site.

This site is here to:

           - provide encouragement and support for those who are dealing with cardiovascular disease.

           - provide resources to help those who are at high risk or have close family members or friends who are at high risk for heart attack.

           - provide alternate sources of foods, supplements, medications, and rehabilitation equipment.

So if you are looking for vitamins, health supplements, exercise equipment, or other health aids and supplies, check out the “product List” page.  I have a few heart-healthy recipes posted on “healthy”.  If you are looking for an opinion on the effects of “stress” or the effect of “carbs” check out those links.  One more thing, people keep asking why I need to go to the gym to work out all the time—if you are curious about the necessity for exercise see “this”.
